Fufú Café

Fufú Café is Vancouver’s first dining destination that features both sweet and savoury versions of the buttery, airy delicacy known as Japanese soufflé pancakes. This project transformed a 1,040-sq.-ft former electronics store into a whimsical, 20-seat dining and retail space with a design and decor scheme influenced by modern French-style aesthetics. Soft and light pastels colors, wall-to-ceiling mouldings, contrast of various material including brushed gold metal and light oak wood and terracotta, as well as custom-designed furniture and select lighting fixtures and accessories are incorporated into the space. This complete renovation project started from the building permit application through to final completion of construction and all interior design elements.
